I have my resume registered on Seek.com, so that employers can contact me about jobs. The other day I received an email, apparently from no_reply@seek.com. I contacted Seek who confirmed that the people who contacted me are nothing to do with them and do not use the website. Here is a copy of the email:

What a load of baloney! Seek told me it is obviously a money laundering scam. It is a bit scary that the people have hijacked Seeks email, as someone even more gullible than me (does that person exist?) could get themselves in a real pickle.

I have read on a few forums of people who have fallen for scams like this and got in al sorts of trouble. Another scam to watch out for, as if there weren’t enough already.
