Get Paid To Work From Home

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I have been researching freelance work and have found a great site called Elance.com. You can register for a free account and then search loads of jobs that suit your skills. I have been looking for writing or admin jobs. There are also design and coding jobs and all sorts of other things. There are even some people who want help using dating sites to find their one true love!

I am going to spend time creating a really professional profile and then get started when I get back to Australia. I love writing articles and I don’t mind doing mundane tasks such as forum posting and sorting through emails, so there are plenty of jobs that suit me. I also like the look of some creative writing jobs and can’t wait to get my portfolio together and start bidding. You place a sealed bid for the work and although there is usually quite a lot of competition, there are also a lot of jobs to go round. I think if you are reasonably intelligent and willing to work hard you will find a suitable job on Elance. I will keep you updated with how it all goes.

Get Paid To Blog About The Things You Love

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

I have found a really great site called PayPerPost and it knocks all the other review sites out of the water. All you need to do is sign up for a free account and once your blog is approved you can start reviewing other sites and getting paid.

You can choose which opportunities you want to accept and there are opportunities to blog even if you have a 0 PR blog. If you sign up by clicking the link below you can get paid $7.50 just for reviewing this site on your blog!

You can choose how much you want to charge, although this will probably depend on the quality of your website/blog. There are new opportunities all the time and you can view them all in your account.

It is also a good way to create buzz about your site and get backlinks. Contextual links to your site are much more valuable than text links and banners.

I Love Nichebot - Check It Out

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

About a week ago I signed up for a $1 trial with Nichebot. I didn’t think I would stick it out, but now I am addicted. It is like a more sophisticated version of Wordtracker,  but has so many more features and is really easy to use. It has loads of tools all in one easy to use interface.

Nichebot is a keyword and niche tool and an affiliate marketers dream.  It has many features that have increased visitors to my website in only a week. It can be used to find a niche, if you are just starting out. It can also be used to give you ideas on popular topics with least competition to write about on your blog/website.

You can also use Nichebot to create a killer Google Adwords campaign, making it fantastic fot instant affiliate profits. It has a feature where there is a jackpot sign when you find a keyword that has 0 competition. These are the best key words to focus on and it is really exciting when you find one in your niche. I am excited as Google Adwords has always cost me a fortune and the results have been poor in the past. With this tool I have been able to find incredibly cheap and high performing key words which have turned my Google Adwords campaigns around and saved me a lot of money.

Nichebot can also be used to spot current live trends, which are updated hourly. That way you can blog about what people are searching for right now. Again this has the jackpot feature to show you how much competition you would have.

There is a PDF manual and videos to show you how to use all the Nichebot features, although I must admit I muddled through and worked it out myself. I love how I can find the top 500 results in any niche with all the competition and popularity listings.

I don’t usually rave about a product, but NIchebot has wowed me. I am so used to being scammed, I wasn’t ready for something useful, that does what it says it will. I have read on forums that it has increased page rank and traffic of websites within weeks. It can be used for both organic and paid search results. I wish I had this tool when I first started blogging.

Click here to check out Nichebot and finally get great search engine results and more traffic.

Great Results With GDI

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

I thought I would give you an update on my first week with GDI. I have to say I have been really impressed. My favourite thing about the business is that your upline can move people into your downline and that way you all benefit from the new member. This system really works, because it encourages uplines to be really supportive and that makes such a difference.

My upline is just as involved with the  new members I bring in. They contact them and pass them new members for their downline. It is a real team effort. And the people who have been passed on, continue to get support and downline members.

Now the reason we all get involved in these things in the first place is to make money and I thought it may be worth sharing with you potential earnings with GDI. It is good to have a figure to aim for after all.

If you refer just one person a month for one year and teach the new member to do the same, within one year you will be earning $1723 per month.

That doesn’t sound too hard does it. Referring just one person every month and teaching them to do the same? If you joined on your own it may be a challenge, but with the team we are in, you will be amazed how easy it is.

So what if you refer two new members every month for one year? Well, if you teach them to do the same, within one year you will be earning $35, 312. That is passive monthly income.

I know it seems an outrageous figure, but with a really supportive upline and some hard work it can be done. If you dedicate an hour every single day to your GDI business, you can obtain that figure.

Won’t we run out of new GDI members?

From World Internet Usage Statistic, there are a total of 1,319,872,109 people using the internet all over the world, out of the world population of 6,606,971,659.

That means if you and everyone in your team are only referring 12 ~ 24 people each in 1 year and then stop. It’ll still take forever to ever run out of anyone to refer. So don’t think about the numbers. Just focus on what you should do to make it happen.

You know I am sick to death of scams, but GDI is different. I actually resisted joining for years, because I was sure it would be just another scam. Then on a whim, I decided to sign up for a trial. I didn’t do anything for my trial week, yet my sponosr contacted me and passed me a downline member (that I can earn from). He was so friendly and supportive, I decided to give it a go and by using traffic exchanges I am doing really well and helping my downline in the same way. Now I am regretting not joining sooner.

One thing I would say is that you should make sure you choose your upline carefully. Don’t just join the first GDI squeeze page you see. I was very lucky and if you join here you will also have my  upline, who will reguarly pass new members straight into your downline. I feel sorry for GDI members who have an upline who don’t support them. I think the way the program is designed this would be rare as it pays everyone to support others.

Give it a try today and we can grow our business together.

Good Luck!

Stop Drinking Coke

Monday, October 6th, 2008

If only it were that easy. I swear I am completely addicted to Coke, or LA Maxi Ice (a cheap diet cola) to be precise. It is my health vice. I don’t smoke or drink alcohol, yet my health is really suffering from something most people would assume is no big deal.

Perhaps this is how smokers feel about smoking. I drink at least 2 litres of diet Cola every day and increasingly when I lay down at night I feel sick. Nearly every other night I have to actually get up to be sick. Gross, I know. Whenever I feel this way my mind wanders to Coke and even the thought of it makes me feel sick. Every night I swear off it for life. However the next morning comes around, my stomach feels better and I start to drink it again. The thing is, I really like the taste and I can’t think of any other drink I could replace it with. Coke is so comforting and delicious.

So drink it, some of you may say, but I really should point out just how dangerous drinking Coke is. Here are the things in Cola that can cause you damage:

Caffeine - This is the stuff that keeps me awake at night. Sure it gives me a buzz and helps me get over that afternoon slump, but it also causes headaches, fatigue, stress, cardio problems, gastrointestinal problems and liver damage. It also affects libido (not good!)

Corn Syrup - This stuff may make the drink taste oh so sweet, but it also turns to fat easier than any other sugar and inhibits copper metabolism, which leads to destruction of connective tissue and arteries.

Aspartame - The worst culprit of all. This stuff is really damaging my health and can be found in all sorts of foods and diet drinks. It causes a whole range of health problems including blindness, depression, insomnia, seizures, nausea, hives, balding, ulcers, suicidal tendencies, ADD and Alzheimer’s and these are just a few of the side effects. These effects can show up after many years. There are even support groups for people who have suffered Aspartame poisoning.

You really should check out the Sweet Poison website to find out more about Aspartame. It has loads of really useful information. The FDA took a lot of persuading before they allowed sale of Aspartame and unfortunately most of the side effects remain a closely guarded secret. This is due to the fact that the diet industry is worth trillions of dollars and as we all know when it comes to the government, Money Talks.

Most of the illnesses can be cured by just stopping your intake of Aspartame That means avoiding diet drinks and diet products such as NutraSweet.

I am hoping now that I am armed with this knowledge I can fight my cravings for Coke. I know it sounds silly, but it is really hard to resist. I am ashamed I have let it get to this stage where my health is already suffering, but if I stop now I should get healthier. It amazes me that governments let these kind of drugs sell, but then again they will do anything for money. It just shows you really can’t trust anyone in power.

How To Get GDI Referrals

Monday, September 29th, 2008

If you have read my previous post, you will know that I have recently signed up with Global Domains International. The biggest hurdle that most people face when joining a new online program is getting referrals. It is never quite as easy as it seems and if you get off to a bad start  it can be really demotivating.

My upline has been really good to me and given me some active referrals even before I activated my account with GDI. However, it is still important to get your own referrals with the program, so that you can get the full benefits.

Luckily my upline gave me a great free tool that you can use to get GDI referrals. You can also use it to refer new members to any of your online programs.

Using this tool alone today, I have 9 new referrals in GDI. That is pretty impressive. The tool is called DNE3 and utilises impressive squeeze pages that are custom designed for the traffic exchanges you surf at.

It is free to join and you will be amazed at the increase in response rate you get if you utilise the tools you are provided with. All you need to do is visit DNE3 and sign up. You can then add your details and you will be given a custom webpage. DNE3 suggests traffic exchanges you can sign up for. They also suggest programs you can sign up for. All of these are completley free. You don’t even have to sign up for the traffic exchanges or programs if you don’t want to.

However, I chose to use DNE3’s custom squeeze pages, free autoresponder and 5 of their reccomended traffic exchanges (you will see which ones I use when you sign up). Today I added my DNE3 URL to the 5 traffic exchanges and surfed each in a tabbed browser for about an hour and a half. At the end of that I have 9 sign ups. That would not have happened without DNE3, so I would say it is worth it.You will also find that your referrals may sign up to the traffic exchanges below you. That way you will get credits when they surf. The page will be promoted without you doing a thing. Of course it will take a few weeks before you have enough referrals not to have to surf yourself.

The best way to find out more about DNE3 is to visit the homepage and research from there. You will learn more than I can explain here. All I can say is that it is definitely not a scam. The main reason being that it is totally free and it works!

Is GDI a Scam?

Monday, September 29th, 2008

To make a real income from home you really need to have a business that creates residual income, rather than just a one off payment. GDI stands for Global Domains International and they are a company that sells domain names. You can go there as a customer and buy domain names and website hosting and other products.

However, the difference between GDI and other domain name companies is that they have an excellent affiliate program, which provides affiliates with great compensation and tools to promote. You can make money by selling products and you can also make money by signing up new affiliates. At first I was worried it was just a pyramid scheme, but after research I found many people just promote and buy web products from GDI. It is not all about the income opportunity.

You have probably already heard of GDI as it has been around for a long time and I guess that is a good thing, as they are not going anywhere, but my question is, Is the market for GDI products over saturated?

Well, I have been doing some research over the past week or so and I have come to the conclusion that there is still plenty of money to be made in this market. The need for domain names is always there and people always want to make money. There are new people on the internet every day looking for a way to make money from home and earn a residual income.

GDI does not seem to be a scam as there is a real product and you do not have to sign up for the  income opportunity to buy a product.

But how do you make money with GDI?

A lot of people are making full time incomes with GDI. These people refer others to GDI using free tools such as traffic exchanges. To sign up you choose a domain name and register your details. This part is completley free. You have a 7 day free trial to check out the program and see whether it is right for you. I have just completed my trial period. You can then choose to upgrade and start earning.

You will earn money from every person you refer every month. You also get bonuses if you refer 5 active members in one week. This all seems quite impressive to me. Mind you I am pretty sceptical these days, so I was very cautious. The thing that made me feel positive about this program is the tremendous support from my upline. Not just my immediate upline, but even the levels above that.

Before I had even upgraded, my upline had transferred active members into my downline, that I will now earn from every month. This is with no effort on my part. I think this kind of supportive team environment is hard to come by in the online community, where usually it seems that everyone is out for themselves. I have now decided to commit to the program and will be able to update you with my progress.

Of course the biggest challenge for most people is getting referrals. This is the same with any online program. The good news is that my upline provided me with some great free tools to promote GDI with and I have to say they work! I only started promoting this morning and i have 9 sign ups already. My next post will be on the free methods you can use to get referrals to GDI. These techniques can also be used for any of your programs.

So all in all, do I think GDI is a scam?

The jury is still out and I will keep you updated with honest reviews, but my first impressions of GDI are very good. Yes, I do have a very supportive upline and this is a great help. If you decide to try out a free trial you can sign up here and that way you will have the same active upline to help you out.

If you need to find out some more information about GDI you can watch a video by clicking here. It should tell you everything you need to know and that way you can make an informed decision.

Instant Article Wizard Review

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

I use article marketing to help promote my websites. It is a really easy and free way to get some publicity and some high PR links to your blog. The trouble is if you have a lot of websites as many people do, article writing can be really time consuming. That is where the Instant Article Wizard is pretty useful.

The Instant Article Wizard is made by Jonathan Ledger with the aim of making article writing and submitting fast and easy. I bought a copy to try out. I decided to write a couple of articles on topics I wasn’t so sure on for my other websites.

I was actually surprised that Instant Article Wizard was easy to use. I was able to write on Spanish food, as if I were an expert. I guess it would be really good for people who write articles freelance, or have a lot of websites, as it is very fast and can make you seem like an expert on anything. The video on the website shows exactly how to use it.

So was Instant Article Wizard worth the money? Yes, I would say it was. You can use it if you run out of ideas for articles, or if you are not sure of the topic, or even if you just want to churn out articles quickly. For articles related to this site I would rather spend time writing them, but for sites thats main aim is to make money I would go with Instant Article Wizard.

I’m Making Money with CBProAds

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

Even though their Autoincome program didn’t work for me, I am having excellent results with CBProAds on my websites. Rather than getting paid per click like Google Adsense, you get paid when someone buys a product through your link.

I have found I am making much more money through this than my Pay Per Click adverts. It is really fun logging into my Clickbank account to find I have actually made a sale or two overnight. I am pleasently surprised by CBProAds. The more traffic you have, the better for this kind of advertising, but even a relatively new site like this one is doing quite well. At least it is a way to more than cover my advertising and hosting costs.

I have a Pro Account with CBProAds, as it is inexpensive and ultimately means more profit. I think it has been worth it so far.I think CBProAds is a great advertising addition for my websites, but remember the autoincome option has not been worth it for me.

Blogvertise Offers Flooding In

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

As you may have read previously, I have recently registered with Blogvertise. Once you register your blog you will receive offers to review websites and products. You can charge any price you like, depending on your page rank, subject of your blog and Alexa rating. I set my price low, as my blog is pretty new and I am still working on my page rank.

Today I had 13 offers to write posts on various topics, but I was surprised by how off-topic most of them were. This is a blog about scams and making money online, so I would not write about real estate or cooking. Still you can approve or deny the offers easily at Blogvertise, so it was not a problem.

I have also used Blogvertise to advertise this blog and do some link building and today I have been surfing through the blogs they have registered choosing the ones I like. I was really surprised by how many bloggers do say yes to every advertiser. Some blogs are just post after post of unrelated ads. Why would anyone want to read that?

My advice to people who want to blog for money would be to say no to any offers that are not directly of interest to your readers. If you are an advertiser using Blogvertise spend time searching for blogs related to your niche, even if they are a little more expensive.

I am not sure out of 13 offers that there is anything that would be of interest to my readers. I am about to go and sift through now. As an advertiser there are bargains to be had, with many bloggers selling posts from $4.00 (even PR5).

Use Blogvertise and other pay to blog services with caution. No one likes a sell out.
